I went for a ride, I thought it was summer, but after 102 Km wearing two shirts and the fact that I only drank a half litre of water in 5 hours confirmed it was was cold! Glossop – Holme Moss – Holmfirth – Strines – Ladybower – Hope – Edale – Rushop Edge – Chapel en le Frith – Chinley – Old Glossop – Padfield. A total of 102 Km, the best bit is 2567 metres of accent.

We visited Dave and Leslie in Mollington near Chester. Cycling around there is relatively flat. Dave and Leslie were not keen on having their photographs taken but I took some anyway.

French workers know how to muck people about, thousands of boats could not leave the harbour. I did not take many photographs on this trip as we were looking at potential places to live. I did take some of Anne’s house and some local towns. There is link here The photographs
