We have visited a number of woods in the last few weeks, found by using the English Nature Woods web site. Tom Wood, Burrs Wood, Swallows Wood, Cressbrook Dale and Peter Dale. I have a knee problem so walking has been difficult taking photographs less so.
I was in the garden and saw this. I ran into the house got the camera, changed the lens, took a few photographs, this one was the last before he flew off.
