A week to forget
I remember discussing the relationship between a recession and crime but I did not expect it to relate to me as personally as it did this week. Lynne had her purse stolen in Manchester (therefore no credit cards) last weekend and on Friday my car was stolen while I was touching it! I went for a long walk this morning. With no car a walk seemed the best idea. Lynne went to Lincoln to borrow a car. I went for a long walk to get my head in order after a long term, the indignity of being pushed into the snow by the front passenger wing of my own car and the coming Christmas. The good news was that I got a lot of sympathy at work and it was a nice day for a walk. I took some photographs.

After the Staff Christmas Party
Cheedale walking towards Blackwell
An evening at the Revolution a Pub in Fallowfield that specialises in Vodka. One needs a walk after an evening that involved strawberry flavoured vodka, I am not a fan. We followed the river Wye seeing Dippers all the way along I even took a photograph of one. This is a walk that I did last year and is special at this time of year when there are no leaves on the trees. The stepping stones need to be above the water. I also like to see the moss and ferns growing on the branches above the river.
