Description of the dives

The crayfish were large and were not keen to be placed in a catch bag

Dive(491) Garnet rock Dusky Sound 41 min with James. Black coral, Blue Cod, Sea slug (Jason) depth about 23meters We saw a lot of dolphins before we entered the water visibility 20 – 25 meters
Dive 492 10/02/13 (2) Many Islands First attempt at catching crayfish more impressive was the kingfish. Saw a lovely Octopus.
Dive 493 10/02/13 (3) Pickersall Harbour a vertical drop off to 35 meters still trying for Krays total four we have not dared go for a big one.
Dive 494 11/02/13 (4) Pigeon island 5 finger marine reserve. Five finger Peninsula near Resolution island 35m fantastic black coral and enormous crayfish. A wide variety of Wrasse and groupers the blue perch with a spot got too close.
Dive 495 Acheron PassageWe caught 4 crayfish and had them for supper
Dive 496 12/02/13 (6) Acheron passage 47m on a vertical wall that was overhanging near the bottom.
Dive 497 12/02/13 (7) Doubtful Sound Te Awaatu Channel (the gut) a marine reserve for the Sea Pens that we found at 30 meters
