There is nothing like becoming the proud owner of a new bike
We drove to Leyland to collect three beautiful new bikes. What was strange was that we just got on them and cycled. No adjustments were necessary as they were made to measure.
The weather was fine and it was like Christmas – new toys.

We also had a map of the area so in theory we should not have got lost. I worked out a route, the only problem was that we had to do a section that was not covered by the map. Things got a little tense as the sun set and we were off the map. Luckily we met a man on a bike who though he could not direct us back to our car decided that he would help us. He dropped his bike off at his house grabbed a map and drove after us to tell us which way to go. As it happened we had worked it out for ourselves. but we were most grateful.
