The Family walk to Bottoms Reservoir
We celebrated Christmas in Padfield this year.
Sarah and family were in Wales. Kate was back from Glasgow and Lena came across from Manchester on Christmas Eve. My parents came from Waddington and Judy was in Glossop. We were all healthy as could be expected for December in England. Kate had a cough but she only brought up blood on one occasion. My Father had the remains of flu and was bordering on being properly ill as defined by an ex doctor who does not like to admit to much. I was trying to regain my sense of smell from the cold that had started in July, returned in September and would not go away. Lynne was healthy apart from the fact that she was recovering from a Knee operation and could not walk any distance. Lena normally consumes paper tissues at the rate of boxes per day, surprisingly was relatively healthy. Judy, I think, was the most healthy of all of us, though she might dispute this.
