Mediterranean cafes in Marsden "who'd have thought that was possible?"
John on the steps. I wish I had rode a trials bike at some point in my life.
I had got myself fit for cycling, or so I thought. You would think after thirty years of strenuos exercise in a variety of sports I would not make a basic error and find the tank empty.
It happed like this. The beautiful weather on Saturday meant that Lynne, Judy and I went for a ride around Edale with clear blue
skys, temperatures in the low twenties and a tea stop at the end. Perfect. Sunday I went for a ride with the agricultural workers - who are academically better
qualifed than I am, if you thought that was a put down - the problem was that after a couple of weeks of cycling they had got fitter and I had not calculated the effect of cycling two days running.
I seemed to remember it makes little difference. It does now. Rembemer that picture The Broom wagon well it was similar to that, but in this case it was three bottoms disappearing into the distance. The second eror I made was showing a little bit of form on the descent into Dovestones after struggling for the previous thirty minutes. Steve at this point decided to add a final hill that I can only be honest and say "it hurt" My time will come!
The shirt has a number of interesting features!
