  • Arctic Monkeys

    Arctic weather and Arctic monkeys are the band of the moment. I just cannot believe the weekend weather this winter. It appears to be sunny every weekend. With that said let us see what next week brings.

  • No glasses

    Judy and I set off for a ride on a perfectly clear day. She tried every tactic possible to avoid a route with hills. This is very difficult in the Peak District when it has rained so much the old railway track routes have a consistency of porridge. We went around the Strines area known for its hills and excellent cafe.

  • Getting Out More

    In an effort to get out more I set off for Wales at 7:00 am on Tuesday. The plan was to ride some of the prepared single track mountain bike trails that have been created in North Wales.

  • Turner The Sea

    I have not been cheerful recently (think depressed) and we needed a day out. Lynne and I visited Albert Dock, Liverpool, today it has a Tate gallery and as I reminded Lynne on more than one occasion it ought to be good as we pay for it in various ways. John Lewis is a sponsor and more of our money has been going that way recently. (more…)
