I am trying to gain entry to a club to that goes diving, it is proving difficult, hence my no show at the family party.

Crossing the ford in the Manifold Valley. A slight error of judgement on my part in expecting my students to follow my instructions “not to use your brakes or make a change in direction when crossing the ford”. No one was hurt! Click on image to see a larger version.

All the recent flowers and including Miller’s Dale Quarry

This completes my tour of the nature reserves in the Peak District this year for flowers. Miller’s Dale quarry was, I think, the best or was it because it was later in the year and there were more flowers. A selection of orchids Early purple, common spotted and fragrant. St John’ Wort in abundance and a good range of spring and summer flowers it is North facing.
