A weekend trip to the Farnes with the diving club Aquatech. We stayed at Seahouses and I did four dives from a 10 meter RIB with very big outboard motors that were used to the full. I dived with Henry and Conrad and we had four great dives with a lot of seal action.
Lynne’s Art class has started again
I have spent this morning taking photographs from Lynne’s sketch book and pictures. I got out the tripod, looked up what was the best aperture for my lens, found some good light and took the photograph using the timer. The next job was to crop and match brightness and colours. I am not sure that my red/green problems matter here as I am matching and if it looks the same for me on the original and the photograph it is the same? Lynne will tell me if this is true when she sees them.
Heritage days meant we could visit this house on the Lees estate with a view of Stanage.
Nestling in a a small valley on the Lees Estate is this 400 year old building. It has a view of Stanage Edge and a heritage day allowed us to have a look around.

Tuesday 23rd September
We got a lift to an empty airport and collected a hire car. The weather was perfect clear blue sky. We stopped at the Dead Falls an engineering disaster but a place of beauty. We went for a walk in crocs – silly – and saw some nice flowers and the prints of Moose.

Monday We flew to Stockholm and then took an internal flight to Ostersund. We were collected at airport and driven to Lits camp.
